About Sonia

Sonia Knight is the Co-Founder, Treasurer, and a Qualified Run Leader for Rimrose Runners, where she has been an integral part of the team for eight years. With a strong passion for running, Sonia has completed numerous races, including three marathons. A standout moment in her running career was participating in the London Marathon for Woodlands Hospice seven years ago.

Her professional journey includes five years in Stoma Care and a notable 14-year tenure at Liverpool Football Club, contributing to a wide range of initiatives and projects during her time there.

Sonia describes her work at Woodlands Hospice as an honour and a privilege, calling it "like watching the Pride of Britain Awards every day" due to the incredible impact and care provided by the team. As part of her role, she has been organising events and challenges designed to create fun, special moments, and lasting memories while raising vital funds for the hospice.
